I can answer my own question upon closer examination. Only the transmit
antenna is fixed to ANT 3, the receive antenna can be selected to any of
them.

Why is it that my SDR-5000 receives 6 meters fine on ANT 1 or ANT 3? Will it

Remember that 6 meters is locked on Ant 3.
