I have found the power adjustment per band to be very unreliable. I use the sdr1000 for my vhf transveters. Each band needs a different amount of drive. When switching between bands the power not always revert back to the preset for this band. This could have serious consequences for the finals or transverters. You are warned.

But you could go to each band that you don't want to transmit on and adjust the power down to 0. This would be remembered and would prevent you from putting out anything that would harm the hardware. I have at this moment 2 antennas: One for 10,12,15,17 and 20 and another for 40 meters. I don't have antenna for 30, 80 or 160. Is possible mute transmitd in that bands? I think it is interesting for not damage finals. TNX a lot. -- Rubén Navarro Huedo http://www.palotes.com _______________________________________________ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kb.flex-radio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flex-radio.com/ _______________________________________________ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kb.flex-radio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flex-radio.com/ --- message truncated --- _______________________________________________ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kb.flex-radio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flex-radio.com/
