That should work too.  Lots of ways to do this.

There's not really a way to do this per se.  But you could go to each band
that you don't want to transmit on and adjust the power down to 0.  This
would be remembered and would prevent you from putting out anything that
would harm the hardware.

I have at this moment 2 antennas:
One for 10,12,15,17 and 20
and another for 40 meters.
I don't have antenna for 30, 80 or 160.
Is possible mute transmitd in that bands?
I think it is interesting for not damage finals.
