Ruben, I prefer a switching supply due to their smaller size, lighter weight, & higher efficiency.
I have 3 of the Alinco DM-330MV switching supplies. These supplies are rated at 32 Amp max, 26 Amp continuous, and handle my Flex-5000A with no problem.
