That's what I want to hear Ray.
I had a heck of a time setting up VAC and vCOM but it was my ignorance. I
did not and still do not understand the concept. But at some point I set the
VAC as the default and it seemed to solve some of my problems.
Now that I have it working and understand just a little bit more I will go
back and try what you have. If you can do it I should be able to.
I don't think Tim or anyone told me to make VAC the default, I just did it
and it worked.

Why do you need to have VAC as the default sound device? I have Ham Radio
Deluxe, DM780,MixW, & a couple of other 3rd party programs setup with VAC
but still have the PC onboard sound device set to the default.
It may just be a configuration problem.

I have my VAC set as the computer default sound. I now of course do not

the sounds from the computer. Warning tones etc. Do you know of a way to

the computer sounds back into the computer speakers and keep the default
audio on the VAC? I tried the VAC repeater and it worked but seemed to
mess
up the system somehow. I don't remember what it did offhand but I stopped
using it. I have a bunch of sound cards and wonder if I could utilize one
of
them somehow.
I am groping for ideas before I try something.
