RST is subjective and not particularly meaningful anyway. If you think

information in the exchange without any repeats, that merits a "5" in
readability. Strength is really S:N. Once it gets past a certain

other than poor pulse shaping, CW is going to be a pure carrier.
So, it doesn't really matter in a contest, does it.
Now that we have lab-grade receivers with the Flex radios, I would
love to get real signal reports from people, e.g. "UR SIG -92DBM IMD
-20DB HR OM." But maybe not during a contest. :-)
