You are correct. That is the only legal way to get it.

I believe the only way you can get access to windows fundamentals is to have a
Microsoft volume license which most home users don't have access to.

Hi Tim, HELP
It sure would be nice to have a link to the windows fundamentals ISO if you
or anyone else on the list has it.
I did a Google search and all I can find is the WAREZ crap full of virus's
and the Microsoft updates for it on the Microsoft volume Licensing site but
no luck there either, just the updates.

I spent several hours looking for it and no luck as of yet, Kind of
frustrating.
Thanks a lot

I am working on getting a legal copy of it and as soon as I do, I will load
it up on my new core 2 duo machine and give it a whirl.

Anybody install it on an MP machine and can validate that it's
uniprocessor only? Cuz, if it is, it's not going to be very useful.
OTOH, you SHOULD be able to bludgeon the MP HAL and NTOSKRMP onto the
system with a bit of work.

I think it would definitely worth trying... Note that this is a good
alternative to using XP Embedded (because it's BASED on XP Embedded) as
I was discussing a couple of weeks ago.
