I found the above website . seems to suggest that Linksys is always the issue. But there are some tips on making it better. I think I have a D-Link too . I am going to try it. Not all routers are created equal, apparently some are not as bad as others. I've got a Linksys here that we use for ARES events, I'll see if I can get it hooked up and report back to you if it is better or worse. Best thing to do is take it offline, stomp it with a nice set of boots on, then dance around it in circles while singing your favorite chant.. If that does'nt suit you, you could do what I did and get a FT240-43 core and wrap the power and ethernet leads going into and and out of the router through it as many times as you can. My router also puts out noise on HF, mostly 20-160 meters, the choke helped a lot. Most of the interference was being radiated by the one eithernet cable coming out of the router. 73 Jesse N4BFD On Mon, Aug 3, 2009 at 5:52 PM, Kevin Hobbs <ve...@cogeco.ca> wrote: I went Birdie hunting tonight . found a few couldn't kill them. 1) I was getting tired of a Birdie on 50.125 and having to run ANF all the time . unplugged my wireless router (my Flex computer is cabled) and it went away . suggestions? 2) I guess there is no way to get rid of the 9 Khz Birdie? Ie: Main RX 50.100, Sub RX gets a Birdie on 50.091 (oe 9 KHz below main RX Freq). Engaging SR does move the Birdie a bit. 73 de Kevin _______________________________________________ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kc.flex-radio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flex-radio.com/ Message delivered to n4b...@gmail.com No virus found in this incoming message.
