This may be obvious, but reduce all your audio levels from 100 down to say 70 - I had the same crackle that was annoying as hell. Reduced my levels down from 100 -, no more crackle! The other thing possibly increase the buffers?

It seems to run with the level of the audio and is particularly noticeable with signals that are otherwise clear. At first I thought it was local interference or maybe related to the powered speakers. But it is present with headphones as well as speakers. It doesn't appear to be from local RF interference, either. It's a little elusive to try to describe. Trying to listen to strong signals on sideband does become fatiguing with the high pitched crackle. -- Regards, TOM BLACKWELL, PO Box 25403, Dallas, Texas 75225 _______________________________________________ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kc.flex-radio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flex-radio.com/ Message delivered to anth...@consultexcel.com.au _______________________________________________ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kc.flex-radio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flex-radio.com/ Message delivered to arch...@mail-archive.com
