Just to let those interested in WSPR by K1JT know, a new version 2.0 was just released a few days ago. go to website www.wsprnet.org for full information and download information.
WSPR is now much easier set up for use with PowerSDR, as it now includes direct PTT via CAT with PowerSDR, and also the audio set up now recognizes the VAC cables assignments. It is very interesting to set up WSPR on any band and see who you hear, or who hears you, all running 1 watt or less. Amazing to see the very weak signals that the WSPR program can decode. The DX with less than 1 watt will knock your socks off. I have been using WSPR on 30 meters, but plan to now try 10 meters and 80 meters. Turn on WSPR while you go outside to walk the dog or something. Something to see when you get back. 73 John N3WT _______________________________________________ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kc.flex-radio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flex-radio.com/ Message delivered to arch...@mail-archive.com
