Well yes I suppose well all have stories of horror. In my case a while ago I sold an amplifier on e-bay and had UPS inspect and do the final packaging. Everything went along fine until about 11 months later. I then received a check from UPS for the damage to the amplifier????? Turns out that apparently UPS destroyed the amplifier in shipment. To top it off they sent me the check and not the purchaser. Funny thing (to me) is that I never heard a word from the person who purchased the amplifier.
Now on to the current shipment. I sent my F3K in for the modification via UPSP Priority mail on the 17th of November. It was received on the 20th apparently in tact. On the 25th I received an e-mail from Flex saying that the F3K had been shipped back to me. Flex also provided a copy of the invoice, along with the UPS tracking number. The tracking number shows a delivery date of 12/3/09, which I firmly believe that F3K will arrive on that date. Why you ask? Well you see it was picked up by UPS on 11-25, a scan on 11-29 at 9:05AM show it is now in San Pablo, Ca. about 100 miles from me. So it took 4 days to get from Flex to Calif. and another 5 days to go the last 100 miles. You just have to love it.. By the way I have read about Flex service on the F3K here with very good commits. I would like to add mine to that. Not only was it very prompt but also throughout the process I was updated during the process. First was an e-mail saying that the unit had arrived and was in the work Q. Then another when the work was completed and the unit was shipped back. Prompt service I expected because of Flex's commitment and commits made. But I did not expect the e-mails I suppose because I don't remember anyone else mentioning them. Whatever the case, that to me is a value added feature, keep it up. To everyone at Flex are building a very good reputation.
