Everyone has a favorite when it comes to logging programs. My personal
favorite for a general logging program is Logger32. It's free and easy
to configure and does everything I could want a program to do. Another
great thing about it is that N2AMG has written some "add ons" for it
that make it even better. One in particular is the Logger32-fldigi
gateway that allows all kind of interaction between the logger and
fldigi. Logger32 has it's own built in digital program but to me it's
very basic compared to all the things you can do with fldigi.
I have no idea why you would lose settings in VSP MGR. I've not
encountered anything like that. I have not had enough experience with
DDUtil yet to comment.

Hi!
How do you save the settings you set up at VSP manager and DDUtil, so
you don't loose them each time you turn you computer off (running
Windows 7)?
Finally was able to install VAC ver. 4.09 and have Cable 1 and Cable 2
installed as well as VAC and CAT settings.
Downloaded and installed and I am receiving pictures via EasyPal.
What would be a program that would do the rest of the digital modes
and logging that would be the state of the art?
Would welcome suggestions.
