Adam Check under Control Panel -> Device Manager and make sure you see the virtual COM ports under Ports (COM & LPT). Try restarting computer and see if they appear in HRD.
VSP Manager is the Virtual com port software of choice for win 7 .. If all else fails try that. I would have went to the HRD reflector first but not sure that's where the problem lies. I am running windows 7 professional 64 bit. I watched videos and followed the instruction files in the read me section. I disabled the User account controls and ran the script that was noted in the programs instructions for installation on a windows 7 machine. After doing that and running the setup program it now finds new hardware and installs drivers when I create 2 com ports I.E. # 6 and #16. But if I then start up HRD it still only shows com 1 in the drop down menu, which is the actual com port on the back of the PC. Am I forgetting a crucial step? Any help would be great.
