I downloaded 2.0.16 last night and ran it on my Flex5000AU/V. I then ran the VHF/UHF carrier cal again. I had previously run it on 2.0.15. I believe that there has been an improvement on 2 meters, although I haven't run into anyone close enough to really tell. If I listen on my IC-706MKIIG, the 2 meter carrier is abt S-9. That does not seem too bad to me, being so close. However, on 70 cm, the carrier seems to be well over S-9. Other than this, the new Beta seem to perform well. I DO notice an higher noise level on 6 meters than I had with 2.0.15, 2.013 and earlier released versions of PwSDR. But, the sensitivity does not seem to be affected. I get about the same sig/noise level on the K5AB beacon which is abt 80 miles from me.
