I've not been happy with the audio since acquiring my Flex 5K. I've had reports of distortion, noise and serious echo. I'm using Yaesu's MD-1 mic. I've played with the settings and spoken to another user trying to model his settings in the audio section. I'm fiarly convinced I'm doing something wrong. By the way PSK and CW work just fine. Any suggestions of what might be set up wrong....I've hardly made any SSB contacts since first setting the radio up months ago.
