1. With respect to Win 7 64 bit, what is a legacy driver? As opposed to
what other type/kind of kind of driver?
2. Is a 1394 bus driver different from a 1394 driver?
3. What is the Flex firewire driver? How does it relate to a legacy, or
other, driver. I assume that firewire driver and 1394 driver refer to
the same thing. Is this correct? Differing names for the (possibly) same
thing is confusing my 62 year old brain.
While I used to be a Fortran IV and C programmer, the nuances of Windows
(Microsoft) arcana and the required vocabulary and nomenclature is a bit
daunting. If they all mean the same thing, is it possible to use
consistent terminology?
