I wanted to chime in and give DH1TW – Tobias a big thumbs up for his Power-UI program for linking PowerSDR with the Hercules DJ MP3 E2 controller. It was very nice to have two big chunky jog wheels for tuning VFOA and VFOB with my Flex 1500 on Field Day. I had a slider set for the volume for each VFO so I could monitor the VFOA with the calling station. While waiting for a break I could tune quickly around and find a second calling station on the second VFOB. When I was ready to transmit I could lower the volume with a slider for VFOB for the second station I was monitoring. Make the contact switch the frequency of the second station from VFO B to VFOA and make that contact. I had a button mapped for Mox and another to send VFOB to my transmit VFOA. The two buttons I used were under the VFOA wheel and very convenient to access. Rinse and Repeat. I could operate most everything from the controller, fast and easy.
In my opinion for $79 and DH1TWs' free program the Hercules DJ MP3 E2 is probably the most Flexible controller for PowerSDR. Thanks Tobias!
