Here is a way to check.
Reconfigure CWS to use real audio rather than I/Q (3 KHz radio).
Reconfigure PowerSDR VAC no to use Direct IQ and set the RX passband
filter to 3 KHz
Let me know the results.

Don't use CW Skimmer often, but decided to check it out again with the new
version Power V2.2.2.
Something has changed. At first noticed a lot of what appeared to be
distorted signals on the CW Skimmer waterfall, also what appeared to be images
of stronger signals. The CWS waterfall looked a little like overloaded audio
input. With gibberish decode on CW Skimmer on any good signal.
Although these images were not appearing on the PowerSDR waterfall and all
sounded and looked normal on PowerSDR.
I then toggled on/off/ the Direct I/Q in PowerSDR, and suddenly things came
back normal in CWS after a few toggles. Maybe the WBIR of Direct I/Q is
going off in the weeds before normal I/Q processing , or something ( I have
no idea).
Also, I can only get MME to work with CWSkimmer, but for my PC I never have
been able to get WDM/KS to operate with CWSkimmer. WDM/KS works fine and
better with other digi programs though.
Using VAC 4.09, PowerSDR Beta v2.2.2. Windows 7, 64bit.
My 2 cents worth.

Turns off CWS decoding so no call signs appear.

Zack,
I just configured my 5000 identically to the info you provided (except
for the two changes I recommended) and it is decoding fine.
Here is a dumb question. You don't have CW Skimmer in Blind mode do you?

Make sure VAC is not a default sound card for Windows.

I unchecked combine VAC channels and unchecked use RX2. Also

None of these improved decode.

Try these changes:
Uncheck combine VAC channels
Do not check RX2 unless you are receiving signals from RX2 you
want to decode

Also I could see a CW signal i n PSDR but there was nothing showing

Anyways, here are my settings.
