hummmm, I though these were "Software defined radios". Who writes the software? 
Maybe I'm missing the point but this seems to be a very basic human engineering 
question. One logically groups like functions together, like all of the mode 
buttons are together. I understand that 6m is native to the rig but the 
transverter settings are different, the end user should be able to put these 
controls where they want them. What about a Flex 5000 with the dual band 
transverter installed? Would these bands show up on the VHF sub menu? It just 
makes no sense to me that this isn't an option.
