May not be elegant prose, Burt, but it captures the sentiments of many of
us.  While Peter's comments certainly touch on many of the joys of radio,
I'm not entirely sure how the pleasure of selecting headsets, keys, mics,
and raising beams is in any way uniquely tied to contesting.  I think we
all share those excitements and those pleasures whether we contest, DX,
chat about diverticulitis, chase sats, or whatever blows our individual and
collective skirts up.
