I have to add my LOL moment when I read this. I rarely "talk" to anyone using amateur radio right now but my Flex-3000 is going 24/7 doing something I enjoy. I use my "cellular phone" (which is a radio) for text messages (ala packet radio 20 years ago.) the same applies to my iPad (also a radio.) I usually talk to my Wife and rarely to any other humans.
