Yes, there are things that don't work and funny stuff happens sometimes but I really like that radio and the bumpy stuff on the back and it rarely surprises me anymore. With a few mouse clicks and, yes, maybe even a reboot it does what I've come to expect and I definitely consider it to be an aspect of my radio hobby that keeps me interested.

The failures and shortcomings are most likely the result of the incredible complexity and unpredictable interactions in software and hardware that are unlikely to be ever totally "fixed."

Wait until you hear the weeping and wailing and howls of dissatisfaction when the first 6000's appear!
