Ok, I get the message. Another thing: I seem to remember I have read something about the Yaesu cable I am using is not 100 % compatible and should be fixed, but I can't remember where I read it or how it should be fixed.
Ulf, I am not currently a Flex user. Was in the past but this is kind of a general - non-flex issue. I am assuming from what you said that your shack is in the barn. If this is the case remember that the counterpoise - the metal roof on the barn - is the other half of a 1/2 wave dipole. Being such it will be hot with RF while transmitting. So you are essentially sitting right underneath an RF source. Not good. All I can suggest is better shielded mike cable and ferrite chokes on the mike cable and probably all other cables as well. Antennas, grounds, type of mics, etc. If you have a ground on the radio, try removing it and see if it clears up. RFI issues require a lot of trial and error testing. It is not a fault of the radio unfortunately.
