This new machine would be running Windows 7 as well. My main operating preferences are digital modes and that an a logging program would be the only other things running besides PowerSDR. Other than that I just surf the web and I don't do that while I'm on the air. I'm not a "gamer" anymore. I'm trying to find a contact point for Neal as we speak...err type. Things are complicated by this PC's penchant for spontaneously rebooting itself at very inopportune times and very spotty cell phone service out here in the boonies. Does anyone know which Email I should use to reach him?

Mike,
I agree with Brian on this. I am currently using a 1500 with Jetway NF9D-2550 dual core ATOM processor machines and they work fine but I not running anything else. When I get a free moment I am going to check the DPCs. These machines are running Windows 7 with all the current Microsoft updates applied. They also are running the Windows 7 basic desktop video mode to keep things lightly loaded.

All true. Contact Neal. He is far and away the best source of information
about what works and what doesn't.
