I fed the T/R line of the flex into a SSB electronics sequencer to control PA and m/m LNA. When I power down the 5000A the sequencer sounds like an old multi-vibrator ! At first I thought it was the fan blades inside the flex hitting something. My only solution is to kill main pwr to flex and sequencer at the same time rather than use the on/off switch of the flex. I'm not real happy doing so but it will at least save the relays in the sequencer until I can design a proper fix. Gedas, W8BYA Gallery at http://gedas.cc Light travels faster than sound.. I try to remember to switch off the amp first, but don't always do it. 73, Bill Tynan, W3XO -------------------------------------------------- From: "paim" <paimg0...@btinternet.com> Sent: Tuesday, April 09, 2013 11:17 AM To: "Reflector" <flexradio@flex-radio.biz>; "flex-radioreflector" <flexe...@flex-radio.biz> Subject: [Flexradio] buffer from k7rf /relay brrr sound from buffer > hi > is any one know this , this buffer is between my Acom 1000 [240v uk power line ] and one of my flex it dose work no problem , however > when i switch off the flex i hear brrrrrr relay on off on off from the buffer .is the 5000a send a signal to the buffer when i switch it off???. > when i use pual k4avu buffer no such issue .make me wonder what is going on , and yes even if i take the flex cable out when it is on from w7rf out it will not do the releybrrrrrr sound only when the power switch off , may be some one out there know . thank you > cheers > > vy 73 > E.P g0uut > _______________________________________________ > FlexRadio Systems Mailing List > FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz > http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz > Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ > Knowledge Base: http://kc.flexradio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flexradio.com/ _______________________________________________ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kc.flexradio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flexradio.com/ _______________________________________________ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kc.flexradio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flexradio.com/ _______________________________________________ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kc.flexradio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flexradio.com/
