My Inquiry:

My FLEX-1500 Phase 2 display is displaced outside the center circle to
the lower
right quadrant and the ADC-L and ADC-R readings show a 4 dB difference.
However, the FLEX-3000 Phase 2 display is properly centered with only a 1
dB difference between the ADC-L and ADC-R readings.

The FLEXRadio Knowledge Base article at
http://kc.flexradio.com/KnowledgebaseArticle50298.aspx states that the ADC-L
and ADC-R levels should be within 1 dB of each other, and that a mixer
balance offset may cause the difference to be greater than 1 dB.

FlexRadio Systems Support response on Apr 13 04:17 pm (CDT):

Carol,

I had a discussion with the 1500 engineer, and he says due to the way the
1500 internal codec has to work with the USB , that the phase2 is not going
to be exactly like the 3000 or 5000 but could not explain the difference.
So for now the phase 2 display is not an issue. He suggested that if the
Gen/bal passes, it 's operating correctly..
