Mike, Like Ken said, you can't run PSDR or any other streaming audio program when your PC is stalling with 38ooo us DPC's. Download and run latencymon.exe . It will tell you (in too much detail) which program or service is stalling. When you find the worst few offenders, google them and you'll find if it's network, disk, wireless, or what. I'll bet its the wireless network adapter. If it is, you must substitute a wired adapter and disable or uninstall the wireless stuff. You'll go crazy trying to work around that. Neal Campbell, the resident guru of PC building and tuning for PSDR, has frequently said that laptops are difficult to smooth out unless you happen to get one that works out of the box.
