True. The latest version that can be used with the SDR-1000 is PowerSDR 2.5.3. Works well!
Also, you _cannot_ use a 64-bit operating system with the SDR-1000. It must be 32-bit. I use Windows XP, but have heard that Windows 7 *32-bit version* can be used. Also, you must have a working parallel port on the computer. Older computers that meet all these requirements are cheap.
