Just checked my 3000, right on the money. What a great Radio. Like to get
a Signature Series but I have heard there is an annual software fee, is that

The SDR1000 did not have the built-in signal generator that was on the
3000/5000s. That's way you had to use the XG signal generator as it put out
a consistent RF signal. It's in the PowerSDR. 1.18.6 users guide.
