Hi, I am surprised, cas, even I used the cvs version of atlas. However I had to do the said modifications to makefile.
Also note that configure script just checks for the applications / libraries and certain functionality in them, where as the arguments passed to the linker are in the makefile (makefile.in) if I am not wrong. So the problem I had was in the makefile and not the configure script. However If none of you had any problem, then maybe something is missing somewhere. Has for the replacing Mesa OpenGL with the NVidia one. All u have to do is remove the Mesa based opengl libraries and replace them with symbolic links to the ones provided by the NVidia one. And I did get this up and running from the Debian based NVidia package, after seperately downloading the requried files. Also xlibmesa package is required, if I remember properly.
