Have you tried? ... No, obviously you haven't! :-> Of course, it works! It just doesn't work if the file has =physically= been removed (which isn't the case). You can, of course, check out files, that have only been removed by "cvs delete". This doesn't really 'delete' the file. It just marks it deleted and moves it to the "Attic" folder.
