In fact, the model doesn't have to know if the FDM does, and vice-versa -- I can just let my models trust the FDM, and any visual anomalies will indicate an flight-model bug. > Also, this ties us to a particular style of surface design. I'm just as happy either way -- I had thought that the all the FDMs already did know the angles, it wasn't worth making the 3D models recalculate them, but it's not a lot of extra trouble (except for Tony, if he has to change his last checkin).
