True. I think the problem (in my experience) is often the lack of data points to compare to. If you have access to Boeing test pilots you probably also have access to things like idle thrust data :-). Note that I have not myself looked for this particular boeing 717/200 "idle thrust" in free internet sources, but it has been my experience that certain data items are difficult to come by.
