Can the view offset or rendering code (whatever it is that draws the 3D aircraft models) move the origin of the set of vertices that defines the model per-frame so that the CG aligns with that reported by the FDM? But then, the FDM still has to report where the FDM is in a common reference frame. The 3D model and the FDM don't really know that much about each other - it's dort of open-loop. It's not clear to me how you are proposing that the 3D modeling code would know how to exactly interpret what the FDM is telling it - apart from there being a convention such as the VRP.
