I first noticed the problem around the same time as Lee reported them. I did
two more tests in the mean time.

1). I recompiled FlightGear without threading support: No effect. I again got
an abort. Almost exactly 60 minutes after take-off, this time taking off from
schiphol (EHAM) and crashing about 10 miles southwest of Inverness, Scotland,
on a great circle nav route from EHAM to KSFO.

2). Reran FlightGear with AI traffic disabled. Again, taking off from EHAM on
a great circle route to KSFO. I'm currently at 65:32 North, 32:32 West, and
about 4 hours into the flight. Still no sign of a crash....

Both tests were done using the yasim 747 and real world weather.

Cheers,
Durk
