Hi

Where can I find the actual cockpit models? I looked under

FlightGear/data/Aircraft/XXX/Models

but can only find the external plane model not the internal cockpit.

This depends firstly if it is a 2D panel or a 3D panel.

If it is a 2D panel is it using its own panel or a panel from another
aircraft. To check this have a look in the XXX.set XML file in the
Flightgear/data/aircraft/XXX you are using.Have a look for the panel
path statement.

If it is a 3D panel then the background or panel may be part of the
aircraft model and the instruments separate models in the models
folder(see 747).Or they maybe instruments from another aircraft
(see A320 uses instruments from 747 I think)which means if the
747 is not installed you will get error messages if you use the A320
(please correct me if I am wrong here Erik).Or you could have a
completely separate cockpit model with all the instruments in it or
using instruments form another aircraft but I don't think anyone
has done this yet

Now thats simple isn't it .:-)

Regards
Shelton.

Cheers
Innis
