Aside from the already mentioned glitch about the missing cloudlayers.xml file, I was able to build 0.9.9-pre2 without any problems on my linux box. I am getting some extraneous console output, which perhaps needs to be cleaned up. (This is using the default log level, running the T-38 from command line script).
