Cool. I'll concentrate on the sg-side improvements meanwhile. I'm going to
make the thing a bit more configurable (instead of all the in-code magic
numbers), as a first step before introducing textures onto the cone so as
to model rain/snow via the same thing. I'll then play with the numbers a
bit so as to eliminate the "hole" artifact a bit near the rain origin during
high speed flight.

Thank you very much. I'm sorry for the big warnings put in there at the
ugly sg/fg stitches. (I didn't expect you'll be committing it at this
moment --- otherwise I'd properly use the doxygen tags at the sg side).
Will have it beautified in the configurability patch.

Right now we have a thunderstorm with rain outside of the window, and
I've just fired up fg with a cessna sitting on the runway, and am watching
it both out of the window and out of the virtual cockpit!
Doesn't happen here often in the Negev desert...
