I'm not sure what you are talking about here. Could you be more descriptive?

First, which version of JSBSim are you using? From what I understand, Erik
just put a new version of JSBSim in FlightGear CVS. Second, The trim
function works good in JSBSim by itself, and I thought it had been working
with FlightGear, too. So, no, the trim function is not necessarily a
disaster "in JSBSim", but it may now be getting used improperly, or in a way
that was not anticipated. So, please, more information is needed. Do you
have a specific case? Third, the trim features in JSBSim itself are getting
a complete makeover.
