I tried side-posting, but that just isn't practical. I don't see a problem with top posting, or bottom posting, as long as you stay consistent. If you are following a discussion, it's nice to see the reply at the top, so that you don't have to scroll through a lot of stuff, just to see "okay, I'll try that."
