The FDM is a modified aeromatic file.  It somewhat tracks the POH
performance data, but it doesn't spin worth a darn and Tat's pilot
(another Bill) says the DA-20 spins until counter-rudder is applied...

I'm daunted by DATCOM+ but I suspect it may to a better job at the
aerodynamic modelling...
