Thank you Jean, this was the correct solution. It worked for me at least :-) First, some people in the forum suggested to change that "point stripes" options you mentioned from inside a running FGFS. Well, pretty unpractical since the interface is messed up and the Menu is unreadable. Solution is to manually edit the autosave.xml file (which is to be found inside "Application Data\flightgear.org" directory) before starting FGFS. Changing: <point-sprites type="bool">true</point-sprites> to: <point-sprites type="bool">false</point-sprites> will do the trick :-) There's a wiki section explaining the problem and the solution; I added a couple sample images to it so that people can recognize their own problem comparing their screen with the one in the example, maybe adding the manual editing of autosave.xml solution could be helpfull too :-) I'm pretty curious what's wrong with this point-stripes option and the ATI cards. Anyway, thank you a lot, you made my day :-) Roberto ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Flightgear-devel mailing list Flightgear-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/flightgear-devel
