One problem is that at one point I was the only one looking at patches and committing them to CVS. This takes time.. much time. I had to step down to get my finances back on track, in fact that's still not completely done but I' m getting there. Times have changed and more people can commit to cvs now, but I expect them to face the same problems that I have had. It is a real problem which doesn't have an easy solution.
