Alright, good to hear we're all on the same page. :-) Looks like my original 
proposal for a 1.1 or 1.2 version number was slightly more pessimistic than 
the 1.9.x proposed by Melchior and others. However, I do believe that these 
numbers reflect in essence the current state of development very well. 

So it looks like we're heading for a 1.9.0 OSG release around Christmas. :-)
