Based on a useful stack-trace from Thorsten Brehm, I've pushed some further cleanups - this one prevents the submodel manager from holding onto any AI manager objects, which was certainly a factory in the crash trace he provided. As usual, test, and let me know the results, and ideally the stack-trace if you get a crash.
