Hi, concerning OpenRadar I'd say: Get a copy of the code at:

  http://mapserver.flightgear.org/git/gitweb.pl?p=openradar

....  and maybe try merging the various branches. I'll arrange write
access to this very GIT repository, if you'd like to use it.
You'll find out that there's still a lot to improve, aside from merging
the branches.  If you're finally running out of ideas afterwards, let
me know  ;-)
