It should be fixed now. As it turned out the default constructor was rather incomplete. I think I added it specifically for the new AI/ATC interaction code, and it looks like I wrote it when my mind was clearly working on trying to address more pressing issues. Anyways, the segfault during shutdown should be gone. Please let me know if you still find problems.
