'crashes' means the system freezes, mouse doesn't move, no reaction on keybord

I can run other gl/plib-based programs like tux_aqfh or tuxkart without any 
problems.

My nvidia drivers: nv_glx-0.95-3
(some months ago I tried NVIDIA_GLX-1.0-1541, but it didn't work)

I tried the parameter 'mem=nopentium'
The first time I started fgfs, I got an segfault while loading the material 
data (hm?), the second time I got the same result as before (system freeze).
