I just tried this airport, and I also got what seemed to be a working glide
slope and localizer indication. But when I tried to hold a backcourse (REV
mode on the KAP140) I noticed that the CDI needle was deflecting in the wrong
direction.

I turned the autopilot to HDG mode to "manually" intercept the localizer.
Still the needle was deflecting in the wrong direction. As I approached the
runway the glide slope needle showed that I was below the glide slope, but
the glide slope lights beside the runway clearly showed that I was above (4
white lights). Obviously the glide slope needle was wrong too.

I immediately suspected that this has something to do with the fact that the
airport SBKP is located below the equator. Has anyone else experienced this
problem with other airports in the southern hemisphere?
