I follow the installation instructions for the ATI Proprietary Linux driver
Linux 2.4.20-6
256 Megs Ram
1.8 Ghz AMD
ATI Radeon 9600
XFree86-4.3.0 RedHat 9.0
I follow the instalation instructions for the ATI Proprietary Linux Driver
1- run the following command:
rpm -ivh --force fglrx_4_3_0-8.14.13-1.i386.rpm
2- run the fglrxconfig utility
3- restart and log into X-Windows
it seems that's all is O.K.

In a second step I try to compile the driver:
I did :
cd /lib/modules/fglrx/build_mod
chmod +x ./make.sh
and submit:
./make.sh
I got this:

initializing...
kernel includes at /usr/src/linux/include not found or incomplete
file: /usr/src/linux/include/linux/version.h
the kernel-source package is not installed ?
help would be appreciated
